Tom Corcoran’s obituary was held back in 2022. Rev. Thomas B. Corcoran of Norwood, Massachusetts, suddenly passed away at age 67 on May 17, 2022.
Visiting hours were held on Monday, May 23, 2022, from 8:30 am to 9:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, located at 547 Washington St. Norwood, MA 02062.
A funeral mass was held at 10 am, immediately following the visiting hours. The burial was at Highland Cemetery, Norwood. The arrangements were handled by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home in Norwood, MA.

He was the beloved son of the late Thomas M. and Cecilia M. (Lynch) Corcoran and was survived by his brothers Stephen J. Corcoran and his wife Lisa of Norwood.
Growing up in Norwood, Father Tom was a proud member of the class of 1973 and graduated from Bentley College in 1977 with a degree in Business and Accounting.
He worked in several high-profile companies before realizing his true calling was to become a Catholic Priest.
At the age of almost 40, Father Tom entered Pope St. John XXIII National Seminary to pursue his dream.
In May 1998, Father Tom said his first mass at St. Catherine’s of Siena, his home parish, and went on to serve many parishes before returning to St. Catherine of Siena in Norwood as senior priest in residence.
He served the parishioners with dedication and love until his retirement, saying his final mass on May 1, 2022.
Although Father Tom had plans to enjoy his retirement, the Lord had other plans and called him home only two weeks later.
