Tiger Woods Missing Tooth as He Surprises Lindsey Vonn at Race: Photo
This Tiger has lost one of his fangs. Tiger Woods surprised his girlfriend Lindsey Vonn at her race in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, on Monday, Jan. 19, but it was his missing front tooth that generated all the buzz.
The golf champ, 39, supported his ski-pro girlfriend as she raced to victory in her super-G tournament on Monday, where she broke records with the 63rd win in her career. Woods, who spent the day wearing a skull-faced bandana over his face, was photographed at one moment intently watching his love of nearly two years from afar.
Woods took off his bandana at one point and gaped at his girlfriend as she broke a 35-year-old record with her win. Noticeably missing from Woods’ world-famous mouth, however, was one of his front two teeth.
Woods’ agent addressed the gaping hole in his pearly whites on Monday, saying it was the result of an unfortunate accident.
“During a crush of photographers at the awards’ podium at the World Cup event in Italy, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged towards the stage, turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth,” his agent Mark Steinberg told the Daily Mail. “Woods’ tooth was knocked out by the incident.”

Vonn, meanwhile, made no mention about her beau’s missing tooth, but told the Today show on Monday that he surprised her in Italy by showing up.
“I didn’t know he was here at the finish until I actually was done with my race and my dad said, ‘Hey look, I found someone,”’ Vonn, 30, told Savannah Guthrie and Willie Geist. “It was incredible. I had hoped that he would come, but he’s in training. He’s got a tournament coming up. I would never have expected him to show up, but it meant a lot to me. He’s a catch. He’s a good boyfriend.”
Vonn, who came off of two debilitating injuries in the last year (which kept her from competing in the 2014 Sochi Olympics), told the Today show that she’s back in her element. “I think that’s just all my hard work paying off finally,” she remarked. “I’m in a really happy place. It’s hard to explain. It’s a dream come true.”
